ABOUT ME

I am Tereza Novotná, the only Czech freeride ski girl in the Freeride Junior Tour and I am eighteen years old. I am the 13th girl in the Freeride Junior Tour rankings and this year I took part in the Freeride Junior World Championship.

I have competed since season 2018 but freeriding is more than just competition to me, it is my passion, hobby, and lifestyle - in two words my life. Since my childhood, I wanted to be a pro skier and my dream is almost true. Many people thought that I can not be a good freeride skier because in my country there are no big mountains, they were wrong. I compete in the fifth season with the best juniors, it makes me happy.

In the overall FJT rankings I placed myself in 23rd, 13th, 23rd, 28th and 29th place. The season 2022 was my last season in the Freeride Junior Tour,  I want to continue in the Freeride World Qualifier.
